Received a deportation decision?

You have only 7 days from notification to file a case in the Administrative Court.

  • Filing the lawsuit, as a rule, stays enforcement of the order.
  • The court usually decides within about 15 days.
  • Held in a Removal Center (GGM)? We object to the detention at once.

How we help

Residence and deportation law, handled end to end

Every stage of your case under Law No. 6458 — from the first application to the courtroom.

Residence permits (ikamet)

Short-term, family, student and long-term permits. Applied for and renewed, correctly the first time.

Refusal and cancellation lawsuits

Permit refused or cancelled? We take the decision to the Administrative Court.

Deportation appeals

You have 7 days. We file in time, and as a rule the order is not carried out while the court reviews it.

Detention in Removal Centers (GGM)

We challenge detention before the Criminal Judgeship of Peace and seek release, or a reporting duty instead.

Lifting entry bans and codes

We work to lift restriction codes and entry bans such as V-87 and G-87, so you can return legally.

Work permits and citizenship

Work permit and Turkish citizenship — we match your status today to your plans.

The shield of Article 55

In these situations the law is absolute: you cannot be deported.

You cannot be deported if —

Article 55, Law No. 6458
  • You face a real risk of torture or inhuman treatment in your home country.
  • Travel is life-threatening due to serious illness, age or pregnancy.
  • You are being treated for a life-threatening condition that cannot be treated at the destination.
  • You are a victim of human trafficking and are in the support process.

Invitation to Leave (Terke Davet)

An alternative to immediate deportation

Sometimes the authorities give 15 to 30 days to leave voluntarily instead of deporting you.

Leave within that time and pay your fines, and you may avoid an entry ban — keeping your right to return.

Fees and costs

Transparent from the start

Travel expenses

By law you pay the removal costs. If the state pays, the entry ban stays until the debt is cleared.

Administrative fines

We calculate visa and overstay fines and help you pay them.

Legal aid (Adli Yardim)

No means to pay? We show you how to reach state-funded legal aid.

FAQ

Questions people ask us first

I have just received a deportation decision. How long do I have?
The period is 7 days from the date the decision was served on you. It cannot be extended, and once it passes the decision becomes final whatever its defects. The harder questions come before that: when service was legally completed, which court is competent, and what the ground cited in your decision actually permits. Send us the decision today and we will tell you your exact last day.
Will I be deported while the case is pending?
As a rule, filing the case suspends enforcement until the court rules. That rule has exceptions, and whether one applies to you depends on the legal ground written into your decision — for certain grounds removal may proceed while the case continues. It is the first thing we check when we open a file. Send us your decision and you will know where you stand.
A family member is being held in a Removal Centre (GGM). What can be done?
That is administrative detention, and it is challenged separately from the deportation decision — a different application, a different authority, a different clock. Release, an alternative measure such as a reporting duty, or continued detention each depend on the ground for the detention and how long it has already run. Time matters here more than anywhere. Call us with the person's details.
There is a restriction code or entry ban on me, for example V-87 or G-87. Can it be lifted?
It depends on which code was entered and the reason behind it. Some are removed once the underlying debt or violation is cleared; others require a lawsuit that the administration defends hard. Codes are often combined, and the combination changes the route entirely. We need to see your record before anyone can tell you honestly whether it can be lifted.
I do not speak Turkish. Can you still help me?
Yes. Write to us on WhatsApp in your own language — Russian, Arabic, Uzbek, Persian, English and others. We explain the decision, your options and every step in the language you are comfortable with, and we represent you before the authorities and the court.
Can I file the appeal myself, without a lawyer?
Legally, yes. In practice the court rules on the petition in front of it: the grounds you raise, the evidence you attach, the legal basis you rely on. Arguments not raised in time are usually not heard later, and a case lost on a defective petition is rarely repaired on appeal. Most of the files that reach us as emergencies started this way. Talk to us before you file, not after.
What are my chances?
No lawyer can answer that honestly without reading your decision. The ground cited against you, your family situation in Turkiye, your health, how long you have lived here and your immigration history each change the answer — and so does the particular court. We give you an assessment once we have read the file, including when the outlook is poor.
What documents should I send first?
Photographs of the decision you were served, your passport, and any residence or status documents you hold. That is enough for us to start reading your situation. Almost every file then needs more, and which documents matter depends on the ground cited against you. Send what you have now — the deadline keeps running while documents are collected.

Do not lose a day. Write to us now.
